Got an invite from Cornell Plant Biology. It will be Skype interview and the date would be around Feb 4~6th Excited and nervous at the same time. I should never mess up with this chance.

it's like Stanford sends interview first, and WashU sends reject first. What a positive school Stanford is! And I don't get one from Stanford......what a negative person I am!!! Good luck for who gets interview from Stanford!! one of the best in the world

It's like DBBS is sending batch rejections right after New year's day I understood myself rejected because I don't have much experience or high scores or GPA But it seems like some guys with lots of experience like more than 3 years in labs and more than 2 publications also got rejected like me in the same time Can't understand which genius is offered with interview from WashU

it seems there is no one else applied to WASHU here they sent me a rejection PDF file (very polite and formal!!) this morning it was my top choice......but anyway thanks for their noticing me very soon i can move on to focus another school. good luck for every one

it seems that berkeley already sent email in dec. 17th. you can see one in result search page. so im pretty sure im rejected

oh nothing special. it's just typical 'first and nervous and blah blah' i just answered like '1+1=3' but it was a great experience. and next interview would be much easier.

I'm not exaggerating or going to be just pessimistic. I literally screwed up the interview. That's why it would be not odd even if i'm getting rejected.

Yeah.....tell me about it. I should get another job if i'm rejected by all the schools that I applied. That would mean I am insufficient for the research. I won't have to whine but find another job as soon as possible.

Hey No Coffee Plz. I'm glad to see a guy from plant lab! I had used Arabidopsis, too. The lab I attended is mainly involved with ABA pathway. The gene I studied was still not well-known but we prove it is involved in ABA pathway. Would you mind me asking which school you are attending?

Yeah.......I read the information on the PMB website again and you seem to be right! They said they would send both interview-offering and rejection-noticing mails before the end of Dec. And the interview weekend is not far from now........

They said they would send interview offer and rejection mail altogether before end of this month.... But I don't get anything until now. And the office will close until Jan. 3rd or so.

Really?? Do you mean I am already rejected by Berkeley?? Well......if that's true, they should send me a rejection mail anyway......I don't like wait not knowing what's going on Anyway this is expected. I didn't think I will be accepted by Berkeley! Berkeley and Stanford are too high.....
