Thank you so much! Your kind words definitely boosted my mood. I am so happy that you are able to go to Florida State next year. It sounds like it's going to be absolutely perfect for you! -
Hi everyone! I'm Sam. I'm 21 and currently a student at Towson University. I'm originally from a tiny town in northern New Hampshire. I started out as a psychology major and switched to speech-language pathology early on in my first semester. I've been able to participate in an independent study where my group is preparing to present research at the Pennsylvania state convention in April, and I got to sit in on the graduate level fluency class here - which I LOVED! My main interests in the field are fluency, early intervention, and literacy. One of my favorite parts of college has been being involved with music at my school - I've been in the marching band, pep band and concert band. I've made the greatest friends and had so many good times with it. Nothing is quite like performing in front of thousands of people. I also like to run, crochet, and ski. My favorite sports team is definitely the Red Sox, and I also love the Baltimore Ravens. All of you seem so interesting, and I'm glad we've been experiencing this ride together! Fun fact: I love exclamation points.

@autismadvocate, thank you! I was accepted yesterday! I really thought that after I got my first acceptance, the anxiety would go away. But seeing as my family is all really banking on me getting in to the University of New Hampshire, I'm still worried sick. Acceptences were posted on the results search weeks ago and I still haven't heard a thing. In a way, I wish they'd just let me know now if they're going to reject me. It doesn't help that my family wasn't so excited that I got in to Plattsburgh since it's not their top choice for me. ugh. Sorry for ranting! -
I was delivering the mail at work and came back to an email with the subject line stating "Graduate program acceptance." I promptly started screaming/crying.

Thanks everyone! And congrats to those who received acceptances today! Things are starting to speed up again with the middle of the month hitting. Hopefully we'll all know where we're headed soon

I got my first good news this morning! I was accepted at SUNY Plattsburgh. I loved my visit there, so I'm so excited. If I don't get into UNH, I'll likely go there!

At my interview on Friday, the school said we'd hear any time this week. I can't stop refreshing my email! My fingers will be crossed all week. -
Congrats, AutismAdvocate! It has got to be so exciting, and such a relief as well

I think it went well! It was super casual and the professors were all really nice. I will hear back by the end of next week thanks for asking! -

I heard that too! I really wanted to apply there, but didn't bother to do so after hearing that. Everyone should get a fair shot! -

I'm about halfway through my 450 mile trip for my interview at SUNY Plattsburgh tomorrow. I must say, being on the road for this long has made me almost relax...I know I can't check my email while driving! -

ME. TOO. I feel like it's doomsday. I wish they'd just let us all know now! Ugh. -
Congrats, Sunflower3! I agree, I don't know why they're taking so long. And thank you!

Someone just posted an acceptance to my top school (University of New Hampshire). And I thought I was nervous earlier today...

I was feeling like that all day, but keep your chin up! No news is better than bad news -- and when we do find out it will be just that more exciting -

Same here! I was only able to sleep a few hours last night and can't seem to relax enough to nap! I just want one acceptance! Fun fact: I have a fitbit that tracks my sleep and I have been super restless the past few nights. It's interesting to see that as more schools are notifying! -
@arthritiskid By the looks of my classmates' twitter accounts, it seems like we aren't the only ones! We're hooked. (my computer wouldn't let me quote your post! Booooo)

Me too! I have a Physics exam and the only thing I can focus on is my current crochet project...it occupies my hands so I can't check my portals! -

I feel you there. I am literally crawling out of my skin! I cannot focus on anything but the results search, which is awful for all of the studying I have to do today... -
Congrats everyone! Hopefully the rest of us will be getting some good news soon as well!

Does anyone else feel a little relief on the weekends? I feel like it's not likely for me to hear anything on Saturday or Sunday, and it's such a nice break from waiting. -
I feel the same way! But good news will come soon, hopefully. Also, I see you're from Maine! I'm originally from New Hampshire...did you apply to schools in New England?
