My email pushes messages through on my phone's app. Every time I see that little red 1, I die a little bit inside. It's terrifying checking my email these days.

There appears to be a University of Washington rejection up as well...

In the same boat. Made some silly decisions when I was applying, but I don't have quite the good news you do, yet.. Still waiting to hear back from Syracuse about a funded MA and submitting an app to Nova tonight. The wait is absolutely demoralizing.

I need to change my life philosophy to this one immediately.

Northwestern has now notified me of my rejection a whopping THREE times. Why, NW?!

My mom told everyone I was accepted to Syracuse when I received the offer to be considered for the MA. I am hoping that this is a self-fulfilling prophecy and there will be no need to inform anyone that anything was even in question haha. However, I wish she wouldn't put me in that position. I'm wishing I told WAY fewer people I was applying.

This is what I am feeling exactly. I keep telling myself that the DGS said "extremely competitive," so that has to be good. Right? Thinking about it actually makes me hate this even more; I almost wish they had just rejected me so I wouldn't feel all this anxiety and (maybe) false hope. It is dumb. So what about Rochester? Would it be a funded MA? What exactly did the offer say? I want all the details, stat!

I wish! DGS told me Friday night that she would get back to me on Monday. Yesterday (the Monday I was waiting desperately for), she emailed me and said she was sorry, but she meant NEXT Monday. So I have a week to sit and wallow in my own uncertainty. I think the original email she sent sounds super optimistic though; I keep showing it to other people in hopes it comes across that way to someone other than just me haha. I see you've gotten an MA offer as well! Congratulations!!!
