Congrats!!! I think the common procedure here is to pick whichever one is your top choice - or the one you care more about - and confirm the weekend they give you. Then, email/call the other school for an alternate weekend if you're still interested in going. I'm sure both schools will end up having multiple interview dates, so you should be fine!

Hi stmwap! I was wondering if you had any advice on questions to ask in interviews, and questions they are likely to ask you. I'm most interested in trying to figure out who would be a good mentor, and the things I should be on the lookout for.

"So, wait... you want to be a doctor, but you're not going to med school? How does that work?" Sigh.

I think that sending emails now would be fine - I've been in touch with a lot of my POI's both before and after submission, and they've all been courteous and willing to help. Don't expect all of them to respond (I'm sure they get a ton of emails this time of year), but even if they just see something from you in their inbox it can only help your application. Many professors even expressed that they appreciated seeing somebody who was willing to actively pursue what they wanted to do in graduate school, so you'll leave a good impression. Just remember to use your professional or university email so your letter doesn't go straight to their junk =)

I've applied to six so far - not sure if I should apply to a couple more. I've applied to all of the ones I'm most interested in, but there's a couple more I would definitely consider. Would it be overkill to ask my recommenders for a few more letters? Good luck to everyone! =)
