  1. Thanks a lot! So, for instance, if my lowest GPA is below a given cutoff (and the remaining two above it), what would happen at the admissions office stage? They would only consider the GPAs that make for admission?
  2. Dear Gabe, I hold an undergraduate degree and two masters. Which GPA will be taken into account by the Admissions Office (uGPA or masters' GPA)? If the combined GPA is considered, how it will be calculate (as an average between three different GPAs or rather as the average between all my marks together)? Thank you very much, Robes
  3. I wouldn't say it is easier -despite I scored around 155 on the Manhattan tests and ended up with 160 in the quant section of the real GRE. I simply think that Manhattan Quant is filled with many time-consuming problems you would never see on the real GRE test all together. Anyway, just keep practicing with Manhattan and, above all, with the ETS material (always timed, of course): it is by far the best one in predicting your real score.

  5. I confirm that: a few weeks ago two well-known professors in my field (and working in top-10 tier universities) just told me to pay a lot of attention to the GRE just for that reason. According to them, the GRE is important not just for international applicants but even for evaluating American students due to the grade inflation occurred in the last few years. So, be prepared..
  6. Nope, I'm waiting for them too.
  7. Any news from Boston University, Boston College and Brandeis?
  8. Update by Boston University: DGS just emailed me, the committee needs time and hopefully some news will be available by March. So, looks like the two admissions are fake.
  9. Thanks @IRToni! I applied several months ago with a research proposal on the international dimension of authoritarianism. My interests are also concerned with IR theory, religion/nationalism in IR, international security. Admittedly, it's too far from my home too and no funding at all would be a huge concern. Anyway, I'm waiting for several other schools (mostly from the US), so I really hope to receive further positive news in the next few days.
  10. Hi guys, this is my first post! Claim the ANU admission, no funding however
