Thank you TMCB, for your kind words (which have miraculously disappeared).
Anyhow: How do we know that the following fractions are in Europe? A/C, X/C and W/C ? Answer: Because their numerators are all over "C's."
But seriously did you know that 10 out of every 9 people have a problem with fractions? It's a big deal.
(1) This is stress speaking. We all are aware of our individual stress and can/ought to take steps to reduce it.
(2) It is okay to have opinions, and even to get offended. But it is extremely important to recognize when discussion and debate morphs into argument and attack.
Because I think we all know (1) and (2) very well, I don't think we have to worry about a fight occurring TMCB. That being said, some jokes would help. Preferably non-math jokes...
There is not enough historical data to make an assumption. However, the past four years show a tendency to send out notices the first Thursday or Friday of February (2/7/2013, 2/2/2012, 2/4/2010 were Thursdays, and 2/4/2011 was a Friday). We'll see. They have had weather difficulties which could easily have made things difficult.
Congrats to the WUSTL admits and to the Penn State admit!!!!
Your calculations were correct. However, given that it is after 6PM EST, it looks as if the response I received from the DGS was valid.
It is further confirmation that next week will host a flurry of responses.
