I applied for a PhD and my toppest choice is Stanford. I 'm international, too. As I haven't heard them back for an interview, I am getting worried. Do they interview applicants or just offer admission unfunded first without any interview. How you heard about their process?
I'm EE ,too. But mine is electronics and haven't heard back for any interview yet from the schools I applied for. The V+Q for both of us is the same but my Q is a little bit higher and AW of mine is far lower than yours. As I haven't heard back yet, I'm worried about my status. Is that means rejection or there is a chance to get an admit without any interview? What could you say based on what you heard from other people?
Where have you applied for? you are definitely in for most EE programs as your AW is exceptional. By the way, what's your specializition in EE? Have you got any offer of interview?
Please share your experiences and concerns about Stanford Electrical Engineering admissions: I am really getting worried about my status as I haven't got any acknowledgements for an interview and wanted to know if they admit students outright without any interview or not. Can anybody share some clues if knows some
Hey Delia, just wonder if it's necessary to get interviewed for those schools before getting admitted. Have you seen anybody who got admitted without being interviewed? I'm in the same boat and really worried about my status
something weird crossed my mind and is freaking me out: Is their admission process need-blind or indincating an interest in fellowships/RAs reduces your chances for Stanford EE? ealier I thought they decide on admission regradless of funding and then move on fundings? Any thoughs or ideas?
worried about my application to Electrical Eng. at Stanford. Anybody else has the same feeling? Have you heard them back? just saw today some admitts to CS at Stanford. When do we expect to hear them back?
just freaking out and wanted to share with you guy to know if not getting any offer of interview means there is no offer of admission! is that possible to be admitted without being interviewed? in what cases applicants are being interviewed ?
Folks,
just wanted to drop a line to find out if anybody knows how many official transcripts we have to submit to the Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M for admission purposes--as I couldn't find this at their website
Thanks a lot
Folks,
Apparently I am in the same boat could you please fill me in on if it is the same for electrical engineering admission committees? I am really freaking out
