  1. I received an email from them on Tuesday, and from the Results section it looks like one other person has? I'm not sure if they send all of their decisions at once, or just let them trickle in.
  2. Have you asked them where you are on the waitlist? If I remember correctly, they said that they would be able to give people an idea of that.
  3. Hey guys! Has anyone attending the March 6-7th Rockefeller interview weekend arranged travel with them yet? I filled out the registration form, but haven't received any further word on it.
  4. The first email came from a professor I had interviewed with, and I received a subsequent email from the program director and program coordinator. =) I also was notified by the application website.
  5. Hey guys, I'd appreciate some advice on a situation I've found myself in! I recently attended the interview weekend for one of my top schools, and received my acceptance only a couple of days later. I love the program (like I said, going into this whole process, they were one of my top choices, and the interview weekend just reinforced that), but I still have four interviews left (this program was my first interview). I'm keeping an open mind during the interview process, and would still like to attend those interviews (especially since I've already made travel arrangements). My acceptance email asked me to give the program a general idea of where I am in the decision-making process, so (after thanking them, of course!) I was planning on mentioning that my last interview will be in early March, and that I would prefer to postpone my decision until then. However, given how much I like this program, it seems like it might be a good idea to give some sort of indication that they're high up on my list. Would that be at all appropriate? And if so, what would be the best way to do it? Subtly, or in a more straightforward manner? Thanks! =)
  6. Mine was sent at 4:56PM (I'm on the east coast), and with the same text as spaceimmunology's. I don't think it was a mass email, though I could be wrong about that?
  7. Just got a Rockefeller invite! So, everyone else should be on the look-out.
  8. Mine didn't have an attachment either--maybe none of the Cancer Biology invites did, assuming that was the program you applied to as well?
  9. Thank you! Good luck to everyone still waiting on Stanford--hopefully Monday will bring good news. =)
  10. Stanford Biosciences (Cancer Biology) interview! Ahhh, I'm so excited.
  11. No problem! I was invited to interview at UCSF and UCSD, so that's how I got those dates. Stanford's are available on the "How to apply" portion of its admissions website. While it's not required, UCSF suggests that people interested in cancer biology, developmental & stem cell biology, neurobiology, genetics, tissue/organ biology and endocrinology, and/or vascular/cardiac biology attend the first weekend, while people interested in immunology and/or microbial pathogenesis & virology are encouraged to attend the second weekend. It doesn't seem as though there's any difference between the UCSD weekends.
  12. Here's what I know: UCSF BMS: 1/23-1/25 or 2/6-2/8 (expected to depart the day after) UCSD Biological Sciences: 2/3-2/4 or 2/10-2/11 (expected to arrive the day before and depart the day after) Stanford Biosciences: 2/26-3/2 A thread might be helpful, though. I'm scheduling/picking weekends to leave room for ones that might come once the January invites come out, but that's really only possible because I didn't apply to many schools. Several of the schools I've received invites from suggest that spots at particular weekends are first-come, first-serve, so that made me a little nervous about waiting.
  13. Yeah, I have no idea whether today was the only wave, or just the first. ^^;
