Good to hear! You were in MCO, right? How were your actual interviews?
How was the weather? I'm heading there next weekend and I'm from Arizona so this is a big deal for me.
Students are really nice. Faculty are super smart and also nice during interviews and dining events. Everyone in MCO enjoys each other and it is really like a family, which is surprising to think about considering Harvard is a big school with big departments. If you are the type of person who likes having a close-knit community and more support & attention from people who wants you to get a PhD, then this would be the place. Harvard BBS is too big for this kind of support. I didn't actually think I will like it but now if I don't get an acceptance from them I will be very sad.
Weather was in 40's F but it's not too bad. Just bring some jackets.

Harvard was amazing. They really cared about us prospective students. That is all.

Geez I was right. People are really bitter on this site.

I just got a call from Princeton for a February interview with Biology@Princeton Molecular Biology. I'd thought they were done sending out interviews, but I guess not!
They were done in December. You got in maybe because some people like me decline their interview.

Just got news of my UCSF rejection (first one woo party at my place), but the false hope for Stanford is still alive!
Has anyone heard from UW BPSD or CalTech BMB? Those are the only two programs I don't think I've seen any chatter about
all stanford biophysics invites are out dear.

I didn't take subject test and got invited to Harvard MCO, Yale BBS, and Bio@Princeton. Don't waste your $$$.

No news is probably bad news at this time..

what? if you are at UCLA then just go ask lol!!!!

How is it possible that Harvard, Yale and Princeton want me but ucb doesn't?????

So I just got a Chemical and Systems Biology interview from Stanford (yay!) but their interview date conflicts with Harvard BBS (which I've committed to...and I also have an interview with UCSD during Harvard's other interview weekend). Any advice? I'm worried that Stanford will tell me that if I can't make their interview weekend, I have to forfeit chances of admission. (Which would make me very sad.)
Applied (9/9): Harvard BBS, Yale BBS, Princeton MolBio, Stanford Biosciences, UCSF Tetrad, Wisconsin MolPharm and CMB, UCSD, Berkeley MCB, Rockefeller
Interviews: Harvard BBS, Yale BBS, Stanford Biosciences, Wisconsin MolPharm and CMB, UCSD, Berkeley MCB
Rejections: UCSF Tetrad
I also have conflicts with Harvard and Princeton and it came down to one or the other so I emailed the Princeton coordinator begging for another way but she said that they have to interview you in person.

still waiting for MCO to give me more info. I did book the flight and sent them the RSVP form.

Yale just sent out more info about trip tonight. :>

I find it's a major crapshoot when you get to the highest levels. People with worse credentials than me got interviews at Harvard. I didn't.
I'm not going to fuss.
That's a very mean thing to say. I'm glad Harvard doesn't want a toxic person like you.

This is probably just generalization but is Yale graduate program in molecular biology a little better than the one at Princeton? I need to know this before committing interview visits with the schools. :X
-
Yale and Princeton have sections on midyear grade reports as optional so I don't think I'll send them anything....
-
Got the Princeton Molecular Bio email for interview today. The 2 weeks that they have planned I can't go. Should I just say I can't come at all?
