Which program did you all hear back from at Davis?

UMASS medical had their last interviews on Monday, so I am guessing they may send out most of their decisions soon? But who knows how long it will take! I'm headed to UNC tonight. Last interview!

I emailed two of the professors I connected with very well at Baylor Immuno, asking if they knew when I might hear back. The responses were: "-----Thanks very much for the note. As you are aware, I very much enjoyed meeting with you as well. We have been interviewing international candidates these last few weeks and, as far as I know, have not yet put out any offers to anyone yet. I am copying John Rodgers [Director of the program] on this note so that he is aware of your very sincere interest in the program. I hope to speak with you again soon." and "-----I was very impressed with you. Hopefully you can hear from the immunology program very soon" This all sounds semi-positive, it sounds like Immuno hasn't sent out any invites. But I am still waiting anxiously.

I'm assuming if I haven't heard from UMASS Medical School (Worcester) 2.5 weeks since my interview that I probably am not admitted? Since they usually tend to have a fast turnaround? The interview was so positive, I was super hopeful!

Has anyone heard from anywhere other than Weill today?

I interviewed for Immunology the last weekend of January. I called last Wednesday and the program coordinator told me that they haven't sent out any decisions yet, but will be very soon. I couldn't get an exact date though, other than "very soon". So I am waiting anxiously.

I just got a call from Texas...It was a telemarketer. That was just mean. Baylor said very soon...whatever that means. Really hoping for today!

Just finished my Davis interview weekend for Immunology. I didn't leave with a positive outlook on the program, and I'm bummed because I really wanted to love it there. It wasn't my greatest weekend either. The others went way better overall.

My interview is next weekend for the Micro and Immuno Department.

Just got a phone or Skype interview for Rutgers MMG.

I heard that Davis accepts most of their interview invites, but that the interview is mostly to see who they want to give more funding/scholarships to. I heard this from a graduate, but don't believe this is true. However, we don't have any interviews during the entire weekend... Anyone know more about this?

I'm headed to Davis Immunology this weekend, anyone know what their process is? We don't have interviews at all..strange.

I just called Baylor Immunology, they said they haven't sent out any invitations yet but will be very very soon. I couldn't get an exact date out of her, but hope this helps! She also said she remembered me and asked me if I was still interested, to which I said "YES, OF COURSE!"

I'm not sure, but I'm hoping Science_Nerd is right! At Baylor and UMASS I got responses to my thank you emails from my interviewers saying "I'm going to really try hard to recruit you" and "in my eyes, you're a complete yes" and "we all really hope to see you in the fall". But I haven't heard anything yet, so who knows! Fingers crossed that next week is a good one... Each school has so few spots, you just never know the outcome I guess!

My flight for UCONN today just got cancelled. They are setting up skype interviews for everyone. I am not thrilled... :/

Did you get a good sense at the interview when they would be letting us know? I was sure we would be hearing by as soon as Tuesday, and still nothing. I received some really positive emails in response to my thank you emails, such as "In my eyes, you are a complete yes". I may have gotten my hopes up too soon! I am getting very anxious.
