I know! They are killing me. They are the last place I am waiting to hear from (other than Indiana which I'm less invested in) and I'm dyyyyyyiiiiiiiinngg over here. My POI said it could take a while but I never imagined this long. I got sort of false hope last night when I had a package from UPenn, but it was only the book he had mentioned he'd send me during the interview. Don't toy with me like that man!!!!!

for anyone waiting on Penn, i emailed the grad coordinator yesterday. she had no news. next few weeks she said. I feel like if it were going to be this week, she would have said as much.

They are only accepting those they can fund so they are small cohorts.

Ut is accepting by subfield. Ling anth is done. It didn't seem like cultural forms was as far a long in the process. Don't know about cultural.

From what i could tell both penn and chicago are open today. The question is, are they simply waiting to notify or are there decisions left to be made or bureaucracy left to traverse? If it's just the former, could be any time. if it is the latter, then the school needs to be open for anything to happen. I would think.

No one seems to want to be the first to break the silence today. What do we think? Will we hear from Chicago today? Penn? Any place?

HAHAHAH so, chilling. Having a beer on a Sunday night when a professor from one of the schools I've been admitted to calls to congratulate me..... I could NOT have been less prepared for that conversation...... "I wish I had something else prepared other than that I'm excited, but mostly I'm just really excited." Actually quote from the conversation......doy!
