I emailed Michigan and they said to expect letters next week...but a few people have posted they are on the waitlist. Assuming rejection at this point? Bah

honestly, I saw results coming in from Alabama and Delaware and just e-mailed the DGS very politely about a timeline. In both cases I found out I was on the waitlist. If it's a school you know usually doesn't decide until later, wait it out, but if you are expecting (or seeing some results) just e-mai;l.

Waitlisted at Delaware! (I e-mailed and asked, couldn't take the suspense).

Waitlisted at Alabama, thought they called me "one of their very top Ph.D applicants" so v confused.

Congrats to all the Delaware admits! Not I am staring a my phone like a crazy person. Gonna explain to my boss that I couldn't get any work done on account of continuously staring at the phone haha

Your application to the English, PHD program is still being reviewed by the academic department. Hi all! I am a bit of a non-traditional applicant, as my background (B.A. and M.A) are in history, though I have taken quite a few English graduate courses! Still, I am very nervous. I have (or am applying) to 4 English Ph.D programs and 5 American Studies! But I am convinced I won't get in anywhere! Anyway, it's nice to see this thread, especially since it's rather quiet in the interdisciplinary forum!
