Whoa! I was told 10 working days. Hence I said March 13. I should have just asked whether I was rejected or not! That was quick. Have been rejected!

Has anyone heard from Columbia? One person seems to have gotten in yesterday. I emailed in there as well, and was told decisions have already been made. Just waiting on administration to verify and notify applicants.

I emailed Barbara Boles, the PhD Program Administrator (bboles@fas.harvard.edu). I presume that those that were admitted have all been unofficially told. So essentially, rejection or wait list for the rest of us.

Hold your horses. Decisions will be posted to your log-in on the 13th of March. Not sure if this is a good thing, but all that I was told after I emailed in. Whoops! This is in reference to Harvard.

Whoa! Well done! Was there any mention of when other acceptances would be sent out? Last year acceptances seem to have been sent out on February 28. Anyone that didn't hear at that time seems to have been either wait-listed or rejected from March 12-18. I have emailed in to ask as well.

I think that is what doobiebrothers said. But he also mentioned that a notification on academia.edu from Cambridge meant you were a finalist at Harvard...not sure I buy that.

I agree! I am currently undergoing my second MA at Oxford primarily because I wasn't admitted to a strong PhD program. It does definitely open doors, though! Perhaps take a look at Oxford if you want a quick one-year MA course of study.

Indeed. HDS decisions were out at this time last year. CSR was about a week after.

Looks like Columbia has sent out some rejections. Shouldn't be long now. Does anyone know if Columbia has any form of interview? I haven't heard anything since I submitted my application.

Hey Cecilia22, What course of study did you apply for at Emory? I was told by the chair of the WSAR course of study that I have been put on the waitlist. I have also been told that if second round decisions are made, they will come out mid-March or the second week of April. I guess all we can do is wait... And perhaps hope those that were offered a spot can make a quick decision.
