CV is used primarily when applying for international, academic, education, scientific or research positions or when applying for fellowships or grants. For most other jobs, a resume is the convention.
You need to keep applying but for better results you need to build your "Everyday Resume" to "That's The Resume". This is from my personal experience. Many people neglect the importance of it, but they shouldn't.
Very well said! But you can add a short para of Teaching philosophy (Although you don't really need it) but it would only add a little bit more to your resume (which is in my opinion is a good thing).
Thank you for this wonderful post but people who already have a job, won't you agree with the fact that a good Resume also plays an important role in getting a job?
