They told us that the faculty will probably meet to make decisions this week or next, but it could be end of March to when the decisions are actually released since it has to go through the grad school. We were told that there are fewer seats than the number of us who were invited to visit/interviewed I met people from all the Comm depts as well as other non-comm dept interviewees at Northwestern during the past weekend, so it seems like it was a massive interview weekend.

At NW visit now - they told us that it's a recruitment weekend with us being finalists and meetings with faculty being interviews.

Congrats everyone!! Lots of good news lately! I do have one problem that I wanted advice on. I have two school visitations on the same weekend, so I told school #2 that I couldn't make it since I had already committed to visiting school #1. School #2 emailed me again today asking if I could come any other week (and that they would fund the visit). Would it be completely atrocious for me to ask if I could visit over a weekend...? I imagine they would probably say no, but I wanted to make sure this request wasn't super outrageous. Reason why I can't visit on a weekday is that work is extremely unhappy with me for taking so much time off, and I had promised my manager that I wouldn't be taking any more days off before I received this email. We are also entering a pretty hectic season

For those of us who were at the visit, USC Annenberg is sending out acceptances now!

I got invited to the MTS visit and the email I received today made it seem likely that there were 3 big weekends for NW campus visits across the grad school: Feb 13-16 / Feb 27-March 2 / March 6-9 I'm visitng the very last weekend.

I just got accepted to Penn Annenberg!!!! So it looks like that earlier post in the results section was a fluke. AHHHHHHHHHHHH this was my top choice so I am beyond stoked.

Just got notified of acceptance to UW Madison - mass comm MA! Funding information pending. First acceptance so I am so relieved!!

I definitely saw it a few days ago but don't see it now. Interesting. I wonder if it would be appropriate for me to ask one of my undergrad advisors who is on the Penn decision committee........ Will you be at Northwestern from Mar 6-8??

I just saw that too. Eeeeeek I guess it's a no go for me my alma mater too. Oh well...

Ahh thanks guys! I haven't gotten official acceptance to anywhere though so I'm jealous of those who have. Haha. It's 3/6-3/8....which means Penn Annenberg decision will be out by then.............
