PENN has made their decisions, as far as I've known.

I just learnt that I am on the waitlist of CUNY. It's my top choice for many reasons, so, we'll wait and see. Anyone got accepted but planning somewhere else?

They will probably let applicants know about the decision by next week. So, let's just wait.

I applied to 10 programs, and got 5 rejections. So, still 5 to go, and really hopeful about two. The other three are either long shots or not that appealing to me. So, still trying to keep my hopes up! Hope it'll go well as you said! Congrats for Michigan acceptence by the way!

And... one more rejection. Brown. Losing my hope...

Two more rejections today. Boston and michigan. 4 rejections so far. Cuny, boston, duke and michigan. 6 to go.

Thanks donaofdoom. 8 more to go. But especially 4 are important for me. Rutgers, UPENN, Brown and Boston Uni. Other than those, I applied to Northwestern, Michigan, Northeastern and Harvard. So, let's keep our hopes up!

Rejected from Cuny cultural.. second rejection, first was duke. So, let's wait a little bit more for the rest.

I applied to CUNY, Duke, UPENN, U of Michigan, Northwestern, Brown, Boston Uni, Rutgers, and Harvard all anthro, and Northeastern Sociology PhD programs. Haven't heard from anything except a rejection from Duke except an email from my POI in UPenn. I'm so nervous and kinda losing hope about them. Should I stay positive folks?

Anyone's got an email from Brown Anthro? I am an international applicant, so I dont think they would call me even if I get accepted. But somehow I'm losing my hope bout Brown since I haven't heard anything from there and nothing is written on my status on the application website.

Well, I've got 154 Verbal and 162 Quantitative, and my GPA is below 3. But I just heard from a POI that he was quite impressed by my application and my qualifications and he's gonna vote YES for me and he's quite positive about my admittance. Maybe it's because I'm an international applicant, but don't know. And I haven't yet got any admission offer. But I guess it depends on the uni. They all have their own criteria and the professors I talked to mostly said GRE is only one criteria among several and it does not have a huge affect compared to the statement and the recommendation letters. But yea, we'll see..

Do you think they will send an email about their decision? Or is it on the website?

Haven't heard from Duke. I'm not that hopeful though. Still check it quite often.
