Sorry to hear bout your UT rejection. I actually haven't heard from them yet. I checked UT MyStatus and it says there that mine is still in review. I wonder if it's because I submitted mine late. In any case I'm just assuming the worst case. As for TAMU, they did not send an email regarding admission but the website said that I should expect to receive a postal mail in the coming days. I called the department and they said that they will send out an email regarding funding in about 2 weeks. Hopefully you get into Mines man!

I just called the department at Texas A&M. They said they still haven't decided on my funding yet and that I should hear from them in about 2 weeks. Although they mentioned that they try to give everyone some sort of funding. I guess they're doing it on a person-by-person basis. Anyone else hear heard from them?

Haven't heard from Mines yet either. Someone mentioned in the results page that they'll be out in mid-April. Has anyone here heard from Stanford? I saw people got accepted to the Energy Resource Engineering program, but not to the Petroleum Engineering one. Still waiting for them before I make a decision. Although right now I am inclined towards Texas A&M. Does anyone here know how getting funding there works? I called the department but no one answered. No email response either.

Haha I also had a dream within a dream, but in both of those dreams, I got accepted. I was super disappointed when I actually woke up.

Same here, man. I was told that they send out their acceptances in waves but that doesn't help in keeping me patient. It's hard to focus on my school work with all this grad school application anxiety!

Hey man, you have good GPA and your work and research experiences will definitely bolster your application. But yeah, I gotta say your GRE may be a little on the low side for engineering but you can always retake it.
