Congrats to everyone in at Harvard!!! I haven't heard back, so I'm guessing it's a no :/ . Ah well, makes my decision easier, and I'm not exactly bummed to be off to Emory in the fall!

Colby, I applied to 4 schools (2 programs at a few of them, and all top schools, no real safeties), and don't regret it at all. Chances are, the 5 schools you applied to are the 5 you want to attend, and any others you may apply to "just in case" won't be players in the end, anyway. In other news, the waiting is killing me now. I've heard back from BU (waitlist) and Emory (accepted into MSPH GLEPI), but still waiting on Berkeley and HSPH. I'm really happy with Emory, and I would have no qualms attending... but I am anxious to hear back from everywhere else!!! I have strong ties to Boston and would love to get back there (did my undergrad there), and was disappointed by the BU waitlist (though the program was not a good fit for me, so it wasn't unexpected). I just want to knowww!

Nope, haven't heard anything from Harvard yet. Although I think they tell you to expect an answer around the end of February beginning of March... Also, got accepted to Emory via Opus about 1.5 weeks ago and just got the email today... haha! Though they're accepted students website is very nice and seems helpful!

Hi!!! I'm a long-time lurker, but just created an account and figured might as well jump in... the waiting is getting to me now! I graduated in 2013 from a school in Boston with a BS in Biology. Now I'm in American Samoa volunteering as a high school science teacher for a year while applying to graduate schools. I also have 1.5 years experience lab research, but no public health experience. I applied to: BU: MPH in Epidemiology Emory: MSPH in Global Epi Harvard: SM in Epidemiology Berkeley: MPH Epi LSHTM (on the off chance): ScM in Molec Bio of Infectious Disease I was waitlisted at BU, which I was disappointed about (I'd love to move back to Boston!), I was accepted to Emory last week and am very excited... it's an awesome program that really meets my needs! Now, I just need to hear back from everywhere else...
