      @spectastic: Other way around! I accepted them!! :DDD

      UCLA is probably a good bit different from USC since we're talking a UC school vs. a private school. But yes, I got in with funding. I believe USC guarantees funding for PhD students (at least in CS). But I got an additional fellowship, not just a TA/RA position, which is nice; I can work with whoever I want without any obligation to anyone my first few years!!
