I did. It wasn't required, but since I got a 3.8, I wanted my schools to see it.

The most annoying part is that not all grad schools take CSDCAS. At least make our lives easier that way!

Maybe they're saying to not list EVERYTHING - like if you worked at Starbucks, or were president of the M&Ms club where all you did was eat M&M's. But I put all my ECs, as they show that I have challenged myself and take part in a wide range of activities.

Yes, the Galaxy Portal is different. It's where you can track the status of your application. A few days after I submitted, I received an email titled "Thanks for applying" with instructions on how to create a Net ID. The Net ID is what you use to log into the Galaxy Portal.
I just discovered Galaxy Portal! It says my app is under review, so I guess I can breathe easier.

The same thing happened to me. Once I submitted, the essay and transcript requirements popped up as incomplete on my overview page. When I click on the "essay" requirement, it says that I've already submitted an essay. I'm thinking those just show up automatically in case people forgot to upload their essay or transcripts. As long as your Galaxy portal is saying complete, I wouldn't worry about it.
Is Galaxy Portal the application system log on or something totally different?

Currently my #1 school!
When I log into the application portal, it says that my essay and transcripts are incomplete. But I submitted them on the application. Do I need to resubmit them?

Not sure if this helps, but CSDCAS categorized every LIN class I took, including graduate, as basic communication. So I think you may be out of luck.

Has anyone called programs to make sure your application is complete? I've been checking websites etc but with deadlines coming up fast I'm getting paranoid about my files not being complete.
Many schools have emailed me telling me that they have received my app.

Likewise! I'm applying to as many schools as I can in order to increase the likelihood of acceptance.

How did you guys get fee waivers? Did you have to apply or were you selected somehow?
I got an email telling me about the fee waiver. I think it was because of my GRE score.

I got one too! But I decided to apply through CSDCAS, since my transcripts and LORs are already there.

Any geographic restrictions?
Many CA schools accept students without prereqs. Some of those are San Jose state, cal state east bay, Redlands, and Pacific.

This morning I got fed up and rush ordered my transcripts via FedEx. The original ones also showed up today.
The universe is trolling me. But I'm glad that I can submit as soon as I can let go of my SOP.

ah, yeah, they probably haven't received/processed them yet, especially with the holiday. I thought maybe it had been longer. But yeah, they won't verify until they receive the transcripts.
however, they're verifying 11/24 submissions right now so they are not that backlogged it seems, I'm thinking it might not take the full 4 weeks to verify? You will probably be OK for MGH, I have a friend who's in the same boat as you except that he's not going to finish his essays for a couple of days, and is also trying to get verified for MGH

bummer! how long ago did they get sent? CSDCAS was pretty responsive to e-mail when I had questions, and I'm sure you could call them tomorrow!
I sent them last week. The ones from my current college went out last Thursday, and the ones from my community college on Monday.
If I call CSDCAS, can they do anything? I'm considering applying to MGH, which has a verified deadline of 1/1. Since GRE is in (and I can get essays), would they put the app on the verifying list even though transcripts aren't in just yet?
