Hello everyone, I just received an interview with CSUSM. Did anyone else get an interview? Does anyone know anything about their interview process. Or whether the interviews are group or individual?

I am also applying to CSUSM. Thank you for sharing this. I guess we are all anxiously waiting for 2/18 when they are supposed to send interview notifications right? Did your friend know anything about whether they invite a large percentage of applicants to interview? Or is it narrowed down to a small percentage? Thanks! And good luck to everyone!

Thanks for your words of encouragement. One of my schools actually contacted me and told me they lost two of my letters of recommendation so I had to send them again. I had my professor email them again and she cc'd me with the letter open. I'm just hoping that the schools understand that it is not my fault and don't penalize me too much for it.

Just found out that one of my professors that wrote me an LOR for all three schools I applied to wrote the wrong name in the body of the paragraph of her letter for me. So screwed and bummed! I just lost all hope.

Hi guys! Is anyone applying to CSULA? It doesn't specify how long the letter of intent can be, has anyone gotten a response about this? Also, CSUF mentions that they want us to have completed at least 8 csd courses by the time we apply with a grade in hand. I only have 4 completed with two in progress and 4 more completed by june. Has anyone heard anything about this and should I still bother applying or will that be a waste of over $100? Thank you!

What do programs expect you to put when they ask "what is your ideal graduate program and what are factors most important to you?" All I can think of is high passing rate. The websites don't have much information about the programs and I'm not sure what they want to hear. Thanks!

AP credits should be on the transcript somewhere.

are you sure you were not just accepted to the university? not the actual program? Because I know when you apply through CSU mentor you get accepted to the university which just means that you met all the qualifications to apply, and then you have to actually get accepted to the program.

Although, it might depend on the program because those that do not ask for last 60 units and just ask for undergrad cumulative and csd scores would not care about the last 60 units so it varies from school to school I believe.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of a list of schools that focus more on the last 60 units vs. the cumulative GPA. I know that CSUF, and CSULB do this but I'm not sure which others. Thanks!

Hi guys, does anyone know someone that has been admitted to CSULA's masters program? I'm wondering if I should bother applying. My undergrad GPA is 3.2 but my CSD classes are in progress and my last 60 units are 3.95 GPA. I have taken one year of special ed credential coursework with a 4.0 as well. Anyone know how competitive they are?

A lot of state schools (like CSULB CSULA CSUF) only look at your last 60 units. And most place put more priority on your SLP grades than your undergrad GPA. If you can get good grades in your slp classes you have a great shot!

I was looking into buying after reading this thread but it says there is a sale that ends today for about $99 for the premium package which includes everything. I don't really want to rush into buying it but the site says its normally $200. is this really a good price or is it one of those things that is always on sale? Thanks!
