Invites for ASU came from Grad Admit secretary.

Thanks for that. I know typically Harvards process is to invite for interviews, which basically guarantees admission unless youre an absolute nutcase. I was shocked to see someone was accepted, but its possible if the POI is a higher up and has special status.

Did Harvard clinical make offers? I saw two postings for Psychology, and it baffles me why people dont specify their program. If someone received the call/email, please post. Thanks!

I just wanted to weigh in here, since all of my apps are in clinical psych. I think its relatively important to reach out to POIs (some schools require that you disclose if youve spoken to them) EARLY, rather than LATE. Around Aug/Sept schools will start posting (but only some schools...its insane how terrible the websites are for some of these places) if professors are taking students, but a lot of it depends on funding. You might hear that news from POIs you email early, but at least you're on their radar. Dont hammer away either. I generally had good experiences emailing professors but close to the app deadline they definitely wont respond. The portals open 3 months before deadlines - dont act like an idiot and leave it to the last minute.

Hi, how common is it for a POI to email and request a Skype interview with 6 days notice? Don't get me wrong, I am impressed at the turnaround time, but a little concerned because this is my first interview (and also my first round of apps). Any idea what the Skype interview would consist of compared to the actual interview (besides meeting other faculty, etc). Thanks! Good luck to everyone with 12/15 deadlines.

I am applying to 14 or 15...still on the fence about one. Having a hard time deciding which POI to choose as I am pretty sure the place is super elite and won't consider 2nd order rankings.

Rutgers doesnt give full funding if you come in with an MA. Be aware there are specific rules (that I am not yet aware of....)
