no offense, when i read the title my first thought was like actually... GOOD LUCK. however im in the same situation. my list mentioned there is quite helpful as of right now, LOMA LINDA, is the only american school that fits that description. their 3 year program doesnt require a GRE or any pre reqs. if u have any questions, feel free to message me

they have specific dates as to when they accept materials for the year. so anything they received before september 17th wont be counted towards the fall 2016 application season.

what makes it more frustrating is that they are very aware of how competitive this is and how stressful it is to be in this position. and they couldn't care to add a little note on the website, like hi, this will be open early october. thats all i really want! -

OverCaffeinated replied to OverCaffeinated's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum

Kicked out from program
OverCaffeinated replied to SLPM23's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
true but harsh. i agree though. as painful as it is. a lot of us are killing ourselves to get into the program (me personally..) so it doesnt seem fair... :/ this is a terrible situation -
can we list some sources that help with writing things like letters of intent and statements of purpose. someone had mentioned a resource book from the 90s that was supposedly is very good, but i cant find it...

Applying to Canada from US
OverCaffeinated replied to Kaelin's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
hi my 2 cents. Canadian schools (here in Ontario) dont take US students as they say theyre considered international. Not sure how that would work with your dual citizenship. But just something to be aware of, I personally think it would be harder to get in for you. American schools are many and a lot of people are actually applying to US from Canada. Canadian choices are very limited. -
i cant help you decide which one, but here is a list of what i have for online schools online masters california state university northridge idaho state university meridian university of wisconsin eau claire university of vermont east carolina university of northen colorado south carolina nova southeastern uni

OverCaffeinated replied to OverCaffeinated's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
hey guys! glad other people are also freaking out! the application is based out of 1000 points which is divided between your ref, gpa, volunteering, etc 500 of it goes towards your GPA *faints* (last 20 credits dont forget) the rest is divided between the rest of the requirements (i dont know if equally or not) i know that someone got in last year and they had a 3.9 gpa... not sure if that helps at all (probably freaks everyone out more!) -

just a sidenote if you have microsoft office, it has a program called one note, literally for taking lecture notes, and it also takes video and audio. so it organizes all your notes and records lectures at the same time. it has been a lifesaver
