  1. I'm the same way. The days are so long and I constantly check Carleton Central even though I know we won't hear until mid March. Someone on the results page got accepted to uOttawa on February 27th of last year, though. February 27th is next week so I'm starting to go crazy.
  2. My status changed yesterday after three weeks of nothing, so don't worry! I think it might have to do with when we submitted our application (unless you submitted really early, my final submission was January 26th).
  3. I am the same. I meet all the basic requirements for admission (even more so for some programs), but I still doubt myself constantly. Everyday I regret something new about my application (i.e. my SOP wasn't specific enough, my resume wasn't short enough, my research interests were too broad, etc.).
  4. Yes, I am assuming that mid-March is when they will send out the first round of acceptances. Applicants heard back on March 10th last year. Hopefully we will hear back in early March as well! I applied to 1) Conflict, 2) Intelligence and National Security, and 3) Global Organizations.
  5. Yay! I'm so glad to meet someone else on here who is applying to NPSIA. My status also changed today but it changed from 'preliminary review required' to 'review in progress by department.' What cluster did you apply to?
  6. I saw you guys discussing this in the results section. That is terrible. I am so sorry that happened to you.
  7. Hey! I don't know the exact answer to your question, but I can tell you my experiences and maybe that will help you a bit. If you are doing a PhD, I think it makes a lot of sense for them to accept so few people. I have applied for a masters degree. They only accept around 10 people for my cluster. However, the program has multiple clusters (I think five) so there are actually a lot more people being accepted than you assume. This could be your case. You didn't specify your program so I can't be sure, but I wouldn't worry too much. I would personally really enjoy a small cohort, especially if it was your number one choice.
