I got my first admission after two months of painful waiting and anxiety. It's incredible how relieving it is.

A friend at Minnesota just told that it seems they haven't admitted anybody to IR.

My status has just changed to "Decision Made". I don't know what's happening.

There is one rejection, from the 7th Feb.

I don't think the University officials would take time to review your materials if the the program decided not to admit you.

Sorry for the rejection I did not receive anything from UCSB yet.

Was it a personalized or mass email?

Georgetown? Who wants to claim that?

One thing that I learnt in this forum is that I should not panic in the waiting process. What I didn't learn is how not to panic.

Nothing... and it seems the anxiety will remain until mid-March.

Last year, 5 out 6 of the schools I applied posted results in this week. In the following days I should have, at least, two results, right? Anyway, I am extremely anxious and I'm checking email and online applications every 5 minutes.

Time To Dance - The Jezabels

That is the joint program (Political Science and International Relations). We still don't have news from the main program (only Political Science). I only applied to Political Science. The joint program seemed to me weaker in methods and much more competitive (I think there were 1-2 places).

I don't have any acceptance nor rejection and I'm starting to experience very high levels of anxiety.

UC San Diego moved its deadline a week: from 10th December to the 17th.
