  1. Congratulations for him; a burden of pressure for me. But yes, we're all happy I share a thought: in Gradcafe's admissions results there are A LOT (four) of acceptances from the University of Toronto. Should I infer from it that I have been rejected/waitlisted?
  2. Bushmeat meat, in fact. Oh my, I think I lost the game.
  3. Total silence.... but still not nervous: it's too early for Humanities! On the contrary, my fianceƩ has already been accepted in Texas at Austin and Warwick, and waitlisted in Princeton (PhD in Pure Mathematics).
  4. THANKS! I was talking about the DPhil, my bad.
  5. By the way, I really do not understand why Classics at Brown extended their deadline from December 1 to January 1 (received an email with this notice). Few applications? At Brown?
  6. Well, I have a question in fact. If admitted in Oxford's MSt (+achieving decent grades in it), should I expect admission in the BPhil? Thank you, dear Melian4.
  7. Good to know... and too bad for my nerves. Birchleaf, have you read information about Columbia's Classical Studies PhD program? What do you think about it? I applied for it (very excited about it, by the way), but I remain curious about the limitations of the degree itself (i.e. if some universities will prefer a common Ph.D. degree in Classics). Just for the record, I applied to UChicago, Toronto, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Yale, Texas at Austin, Princeton (Philosophy), Cornell (Philosophy), Brown and the MSt in Ancient Philosophy of Oxford. Yes, a bunch.
