My friend is currently in the program and says its stressful but she's having a great learning experience. I do not remember seeing anywhere on Salus's website that they do rolling admissions. Another thing that concerns me is that their deadline is April 1st and their program is already filled in March.
-
did they post that they do rolling admissions?
-
I also got the same email. Salus went through the same thing accreditation wise. Actually it was a year before they were even up and running. I hope they are not giving us the run around. I assume that this program was so popular because it was offered on CSDCAS and its a popular application portal.
-
I'm not sure! I'm assuming its going to take a while though. Especially since this is their first time and the applicant pool was so large.
-
No I don't think it was mandatory
-
So I got off the phone with the director of the program and over 375 applications were received. This surprises me especially because they are a BRAND NEW program and haven't even received accreditation yet! This goes to show you how COMPETITIVE this field is!

where did you find this? -
I feel your pain! One teacher responded and that's it! I feel like everyone is overwhelmed by the disproportionate amount of people applying.

Not sure about LIU Brooklyn, but I would contact every school you're interested in directly and ask if they accept people with your stats. That's next on my to do list.

Honestly if you're in the same boat as me and didn't get in anywhere, rank should not matter. All programs have to adhere to ASHA regulations. They would not be accredited if ASHA didn't believe their program was adequate and efficient.
