I'm 6 hours ahead of east coast time (in central africa) and I've been checking my email since I woke up. Of course, I have to wait 6 and 9 hours (west coast) for people on ad coms to wake up. Repeatedly checking is giving me and my phone the blues.

Who else is waiting on Northwestern and UVA? Stanford just had interviews this past week; will there be a second wave of interviews/acceptances later? Yale... UC Irvine... Duke... Can you hear me?

Wondering which schools will begin offering decisions this week and next. Not many weekdays left in February people!

I had a dream that I opened my email and UC Irvine offered me an acceptance! I struggled to grasp more details and I thought it prudent to wake up so that I could reread the email. Of course when I awake, I find myself still stuck in Cameroon grinding though my Peace Corps service, wishing I had 4G internet and a bowl of cereal. That dream was a punch in the face. UC Irvine is dead silent.

To the Notre Dame waitlister, did you receive a letter from the department head? I was also waitlisted for an interview (in January). My email said I was one of two alternates after 8 people selected for interview. From those 8, the program would extend 6-7 acceptances, which would comprise the entire incoming cohort. Are you the other alternate? Any news?

I'm thinking that's an "L" for Washu as well. I'm still hoping for some good news from somewhere next week. I got an email from Stanford this past week saying that the department is really busy and it was sorry for responding so late to my email (I needed to change my phone number). That tells me that there is movement at Stanford and maybe we may hear something soon.

I had a phone interview with someone in the Anthropology department from the University of Virginia, but I haven't heard anything in 3 weeks (the interview was on January 24). I got some positive feedback and much enthusiasm from the professor, but radio silence since then. Has anyone heard anything from UVA? When are Stanford, Northwestern, UC Berkeley and WashU sending out anything?

Hello all! I have not yet posted to the results page, but I have been accepted to UNC Chapel Hill (medical anthropology). I'm trying to determine who is interested in actually attending Chapel Hill because I'm interested on your thoughts on the school/program (and possibly your living/roommate situation).
