@SLPKMP So I called UTD , they gave the same standard answer that we are "still reviewing" and will let you know when your application has been reviewed. You've got any updates ?

I've applied to the CSU Fresno program for Spring and have spoken to 2 students who are already enrolled in the program. They say they have a big focus on AVT. Have you considered Fresno ?

Oh my ! You've got a lot at hold I applied to CSU Fresno .. But their deadline was for 1st November so I don't expect to hear soon from them. Dallas has been my first choice since the time I've started looking at programs from grad school. I'm an international applicant , so the paper work once/if I get accepted is going to be crazy. I really want them to make a decision , it's driving me and my family crazy.

No haven't heard from him. Have you applied to any other university ? This is crazy I really wish they could just give us more details instead of just making us wait

Same. I've emailed them twice and they haven't gotten back and I don't want to be pushy I don't think it's a very good idea. Well, good luck to us !!

I was just going through my emails from the previous application cycle and I realised last time they had told me I was wait listed. This time around we haven't been told anything like that in our conversations with them. So I think maybe all seats aren't full yet , which is a good thing. Let's just pray we hear soon !!

I hope that too ! Just looking at the posts from last year spring , post mid November it's most likely a reject but then again I don't think Dr Stillman travelled last year , or else someone would happen to mention it somewhere. I wonder how many applicants like us are just waiting to hear from them. Spring was supposed to be less competitive

Is Dr Stillman back yet or not ? I wonder if we are just waitlisted and they're waiting for the accepted applicants to get back to them. But this is genuinely inconvenient considering so many schools have started notifying their applicants

Gosh ! Over 700 for spring , that's crazy. I knew they had those numbers for fall but spring too that's disheartening to hear

No I haven't heard from them , in fact Dr Stillman hasn't even replied to my email. Have you tried contacting them ?

I really hope they let us know soon even if it's a reject. I hope people who do not wish to attend UTD have declined their offer ! They have 25-30 spots for Spring I believe, there should be something for us too I've sent Dr Stillman an email asking when we should hear by , so hopefully when he checks it tomorrow he should have an answer for us.

Has anyone heard from Dallas recently? Or knows anything as to when we should expect to hear by ? I'm going crazy waiting :/

Hey ! That's the same thing that happened to me during fall , they told me the spots were full. I applied early this time but my LORs didn't go in until 15th September which is why I'm more worried. I've been in touch with Dr Stillman since I applied for fall , but with so many students I wonder if I actually count or not. I've changed a lot of things from my previous application like I have more work experience, sop has changes , even the recommenders are diffenrent this time. Though my gre (304) is still the same. I really hope this works out for me.

Hey ! Congratulations on your acceptance, I see that you were a second time applicant to UTD ( just like me ). What did you change on your application which led to your acceptance? I'm still waiting to hear from them

Is it weird that my galaxy portal STILL says your application will be sent to the appropriate department to begin the admission process. ? There are people who have already gotten an admit so I wonder why mine is still not even sent to the appropriate department. Is anyone else in the same situation?

Hey ! They will notify us , but looking at results from spring 15 and 14 , generally starting November it's a reject , it maybe different this year who knows. But I'm really anxious.

Has anyone heard from UTD yet ? Or contacted Dr Stillman recently ? I emailed him but he hasn't gotten back.
