Got accepted at Arizona State today. still waiting this university !

Nothing so far. I have other offers. But this university is my top choice. My employer is asking me to submit my offer. Time is running out ! 5 months to review my application! That's too much.

I sent him back after 10 days, not two days. I agree with you. Usually, If yes they will say it. That's what made me nervous!

I sent him today that I want to make sure he got my previous email. He replied " Yes, we received it and have acted on your case." How is that ? I'm so nervous !

I contacted the graduate admission office. When she checked my status she stopped for a seconds like she know something but then she said you will hear in two weeks. I was not informed of any waiting list. I have an external funding. Hope this will help get in. Thanks guys.

Do you think I have a good chance ?

I applied to this university on Dec 15 which was the deadline itself. I have been waiting so long. On April 28, I got an email from the head of the department. He said we have reveiwed your application but we have a question. He was asking about my GPA. I had my master from UK and the grade system there is totally different from that of USA. So he asked me to explain the difference. I replied to his email the same day but I have not got any news from him so far. Should I email him asking about my application status? or just contact the admission office ? or just wait ? I'm also worry that my email got into his junk mail

I was emailed by the head of tge department. He said we reviewed your application but we have a question. I ansewred his question. Do u think guys this is a good sign ?

The head of my department emailed me today asking me why there is a big difference between my self reported GPA and the GPA in the offical transcript. Actually, I had my master from UK. The GPA system there is out of 100. I evaluated my transcripts at WES. They gave me a evaluatoin report with a GPA 3.67 . I'm suprised that he said my GPA in the officail transcripts says 3.00. I do not where he found this. No GPA out of 4 in my transcripts!

Hello guys, I'm still waiting my top choice. in the results page, many students who have the same major as me got accepted or rejected since Feb until late March. I do not know what does that mean? is it very likely that I'm on informal wait list? I called the department two times before. they usually give me the same answer " if u have not received a notification yet from us, it means ur application is still under review" They seem do not want to provide any information by phone. I have another offer but the time is running out. I have to accept the offer by the end of April.
