  1. Met Paul Krugman at an ESS conference and got his autograph. The stupid things you can get away with as an undergrad...
  2. They're ahead of last year. Fingers crossed I'll probably attend anyway considering the better schools I got into are significantly more expensive. Good luck all!
  3. Last year people posted April 1. I'm not expecting anything until then.
  4. Still haven't heard about funding. You looking at apartments yet?
  5. Anyone have a pros and cons? It's hard to find comparable rankings.
  6. Just realized that there was another GSPIA thread. I was admitted a little bit ago and am trying to get a facebook group together so we can discuss research interests, apartment hunting, and grad school in general. We had a thread in the meet and greet forum and the FB group is GSPIA class of 2017 if you guys want to join.
  7. I just got accepted to a Master's program and would like to get into research. Should I find a prof who I have common research interests with and email them? How should I go about this? Thanks!
  8. You have a facebook? I just tried to make a group and I need at least another person.
  9. Also, I'm interested in finding a roommate.
  10. I live in PA and was wondering if I should start a FB page. I'm going to be a human securities studies major. We should meet up on admitted students day!
  11. Just got accepted to GSPIA, anyone else getting into there? Also, any good apartment tips?
  12. I got into the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. I'll be around on the admitted students day as well. Anyone else in?
  13. I've been waiting for about a month and a half for the news I received this morning. I was accepted to the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. I have yet to hear about funding, but this is mostly likely the place I will be going. Good luck to all other potential grad students... fingers crossed.
