  1. Hi all, I am moving to the College Station / Bryan area in the Fall for a PhD program at Texas A&M. I was looking at housing and frankly, it's all so overwhelming! I'm coming from a pretty small town, so this is a lot to sort through. I have roommates (mostly new to the area) and we were trying to decide between: 2818 Place Parkway Place The Woodlands University Trails If anyone has any sort of advice about these complexes, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
  2. It's April 2nd and I STILL haven't heard back from two programs. One (Boston University GPN) I didn't interview for, so I'm guessing it's a silent rejection. But the other (Dartmouth PBS) I interviewed for, went to their interview/recruitment weekend, and I've worked in one of the professor's labs before. It just seems pretty rude to get a silent rejection. Can/should I contact them? What do I say? Should I wait a bit longer? Thank you for your help/advice! Is anyone else in the same, silent boat?
  3. What do I do if I still didn't hear from two schools yesterday?
  4. I still haven't heard anything from Boston U (for behavioral).
  5. PS to anyone reading / wondering, I emailed a professor in PBS and they let me know that if you interviewed and have not received a rejection at this point, you are probably on the waitlist. They have sent out the first round of acceptances and a bunch of rejections.

  7. Womp..thanks for the info! I'm assuming I'm rejected at this point. I just wish decisions would come out already.
  8. I cross-posted this to the Psychology forum (I hope that's ok, I'm new to GradCafe, )and someone there said they got rejected yesterday and did not interview. So I'm not sure if all of the rejections were for those who did not interview or if they were a mixed bag or what. Has anyone else heard anything?
  9. Thanks for the reply/info!
  10. Oh gosh, I have something similar happening. I had been communicating with my POI at my top choice and before my interview with him back in January he told me that they he will likely be making decisions not long after interview weekend. It's been over a month after interview weekend. What does "not long" even mean?! As you can see, I am also terrible at the waiting game. I saw some rejections for the school on the results page but I'm not sure if they were people who interviewed as well or people who didn't. It seems that I am overanalyzing everything and everything is driving me absolutely crazy. Have you heard anything back yet? I wish you the best of luck.
  11. Hi everyone, Sorry if you already saw this, I did post the same message in Waiting it Out () but a friend recommended that I post here as well (I'm new to GradCafe). I noticed that there were a few rejections for Dartmouth PBS (or just psychology and neuroscience in general) for yesterday, Feb. 24th. I went to the interview weekend, but haven't heard anything since. If you were one of those rejections, did you interview (sorry to be so rude/blunt)? Has anyone else heard anything? I figured I would hear back sooner if I had gotten in, but maybe they're just taking a long time? (I know, I can't help but overthink everything about grad school). They are my top choice and the silence is driving me absolutely crazy
  12. An acceptance would be beautiful, and would make this waiting period at least a little bit less stressful.

  14. I've been wondering this too..I've had two interviews, a whole lot of rejections, and heard nothing from some schools (and nothing after the two interviews). I don't know if I should be freaking out this much or if this is normal. I just want to hear back!
  15. No, I haven't heard of anything post-interview for Dartmouth PBS or for Texas A&M (TAMIN). I haven't heard anything in general (no interview) for BU's GPN. Have you heard back from Dartmouth yet? Has anyone else heard back from any of these? The silence is driving me crazy
