  1. I am currently waiting and hoping that I am taking out of the wait list. Ahhhh
  2. I did want to point out that a low GRE score on the quantitative does not mean the end for stats. For example, I got a 145 and and I did amazing in a graduate level stats class (I even skipped the intro class and went straight into the hard stuff). I was expecting being asked about my scores but I think that because they saw I took graduate level stats and passed with an A that they didn't bother.
  3. I would pick either b or c. I think I would stick to C because they are flexible with you going full time or part time.
  4. Can I join your band?
  5. They usually let you know that you are wait listed. I was told about a week after the interview was done. I am still waiting and keeping my fingers crossed.
  6. Checking my email with nothing

Me, every day with my job search! Hang in there, it will come!

  7. The University of Arizona has a good program. I work with a person who is in the school psy at the U of A.
  8. Checking my mail is getting annoying. I check that thing like every hour to two hours. I want to move on with my life and either know that I am grad school bound or not. I am trying to be patient but it is hard.
  9. I am in a similar situation. I have good research experience, good GPA, good letters, but bad GRE. I was recommended by the Clinical Ph.D coordinator to go for a masters and I am considering it because if I apply again and I don't make it in then I lose a year and have to work at my crappy job. If I finish my masters I prove that I can do graduate level work and I can also work within the field. I know that masters are cash cows and that there is not much funding but at least afterwards I would be able to work and gain experience ( at a job I like) and I figure that I can do research with the people in the masters to further prove myself. But this is just me.
  10. I agree it sounds like you would be happy at # 1. Go where you will be happy doing what you do.
  11. I applied to several Clinical Psychology programs and I was rejected because of low GRE scores. The only reason I know is because I contacted the various Psychology departments (the ones that answered) and they said it was my GRE . I was told that I was strong in research,GPA, and match by mentor but I need to pull up my GRE scores to the 70-80 percentile. I am retaking the GRE again and crossing my fingers.
  12. I was waitlisted 2/10/2015 and hopeful that I will get in. I have seen some things work out for people and I hope that the same happens for me. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  13. So, I am currently wait listed and I would love to hear success stories to brighten my mood. Thanks in advance.
