round of waitlist acceptances? or two year acceptances

I have been wondering the same thing. Did you hear back from Ryerson?

If your a past uoft student it just says active and financially cancelled. If you are not it doesn't say anything. Show up blank. Sgs updates at least 1-2 weeks later than Rosi.

Most Social Work programs do not have funding. University of Toronto for instance don't really have funding. Neither does Ryerson from my understanding. The only school in ontario with crazy funding is MacMaster and York.

yes, I got the letter yesterday saying I was waitlisted. I am trying to figure out how long is the list. I am really hoping not long because then goes the hope lol. I live in Toronto so the mail generally take a day or two.

You could of been waitlisted, which is still better than a complete rejection.

Got wait listed for uoft advance standing. Just got the mail today

I spoke to Angela and she said all the one year advance standing decisions are done and everything was put in the mail today. So you will know by early next week if u were rejected or wait listed.

I took the HBSW in Orillia, it is not a bad program at all. I am actually in my last 4 months of placement. They are not that great in finding Toronto placements (so I would suggest looking on your own even if they say don't, just forward then the documents when you do look and do not finalize the deal yourself) but all and all it was not that bad. it is something to get you where you need to go honestly. Lastly, it is not as easy to get in as people make it seem. I believe it was 500 or so application for 70 spots. so it is also quite competitive. I totally feel for you. it is a hard position to be in.

I am still hoping this week, but, the rate they are going am thinking so as well. We can still hope for this week lol

I know it's crazy. I have a few friends who received offers the first wave and they have to respond by Friday. I am thinking they are waiting for these response. That is not what they did last year but I guess they figure this makes the most sense. The thing is, most people will accept because the other local schools (Ryerson and York) have not sent out anything. Therefore, it would be idiotic to decline.

Hey are you saying that you received a rejection letter from York advance standing?.

Its about $12,500. I am just finishing up the program. It is honestly as much as masters. But then again it is 12 months long.

Just want everyone to know uoft Advance standing started rolling out. I know a friend who got in. OMG my heart is beating so fast. lol

I believe if I recall it was the form from the Ontario universities. It's just the summary of your personal information. It would of told u to download it but u can go again and download it at Ontario universities.
