Man, that does seem a bit odd. I guess he just hates giving bad news. Now I'm paranoid that everything I've heard from the professors I've been in contact with is false! They're all lying through their teeth!

Currently doing this somewhere in europe. It makes the distractions distracting, but it unfortunately also makes the lows quite manic.

Unfortunately for me, I am taking these applications way too personally. At this point I think I'll prepare all summer in an attempt to prove myself at grad school (should I ever get accepted anywhere).

Yeah, it was fairly emotionless for me as well. Weird. If it starts to look like I won't get anywhere (sneaking suspicion that it is headed that way) then I will be a disaster.

I'm claiming the official northwestern rejection. No email, just checked their website after I saw a guy in applied mathematics or something do the same.

I got an email from a cornell professor telling me that they expect decisions to be reached in the first half of march. The professor has been credible thus far, I can't find reason to doubt them...I've been claiming from the beginning that those cornell acceptances were a hoax

I received a letter the same day as the acceptance, I was waitlisted. :/ I also refuse to believe the Cornell or Penn acceptances because of how they have acted over the past few months, and after I found out the Brown acceptances were completely fabricated.

For cornell and penn to be trickling notifications out just doesn't make sense to me. Both Tina Slater and Pat Kozak would have sent out mass emails or notifications or something! Someone's just having a little fun on the results page

I think someone is trying to get some heart rates up. I know the Brown acceptances in late jan were a hoax, and it appears that the cornell and penn one are as well.

That cornell acceptance has to be complete BS. I think tina slater made herself pretty clear...I hope.
