I did a little research, and I appears that prior to 2014, the scheduled maintenance announcement was posted the day before...so, Monday for Tuesday award notices or Thursday for Friday award notices.

It might not be tonight, but it very well could be. I think I read one of the older GRFP forums where the maintenance notice went up the day before, but I could be wrong. Given that I have to work tomorrow, I won't be staying up until 5 am (my time). I will, however, be setting my alarm for 5:00 am so I can check it!!!!! #confessionsofacrazyperson

The maintenance notice should be up at some point tomorrow if NSF repeats trends from past years.

I agree with both posters above. I'm aiming for 4-5 years, but I also have a Masters in the same discipline, and I will be transferring in some coursework. It doesn't mean it can't be done, but your timeline isn't accurate. I would talk to your programs or look on their websites for course requirements and other expectations.

I think I've checked the NSF website for that "maintenance" notice at least 10 times today. You'd think I'd have more important things to do (like work, my kids, my husband, anything really) ?
