I got a big envelope from RISD today. It was a view book . Beautifully put together though hahaha.

Hmm, yeah, I knew about the program restructure. That's a bit disconcerting about the comments from faculty. I'll definitely do some more research either way. Thanks for your insight!

Can you take them on the plane in am album style portfolio and then transfer them to a flat portfolio or box day of your interview?

Yeah, that is true! I'm not sure how often RISD accepts applicants for photo without interviews though.

Both of my acceptances so far have been without any information on funding so perhaps it's more common than you think.

Hmm, thanks for reporting back. You should keep your application in, you've put a lot of hard work and energy into it! Hopefully we receive some news (either way, it'd be nice to have some perspective/direction) soon. Also, does anyone know if UCLA's application system reports the admission decision or do we really need to wait for an email/letter?
