Ahh, thanks for the heads up about funding packets! I haven't heard anything other than that funding was still be allocated. It's nice to have a temporary advisor though. I, too, have wondered about the size of the program. I think the CAA page probably details the number who enroll. I did a quick course catalog search and the highest capacity graduate class (for photo) that I found was 5 people. So, thinkin' it's not that big.

I received an email the day after checking the portal.

I don't think any photo people have heard anything at all though.

Crap. I'm thinking that I'm out for UW.

Hopefully that's when final decisions are made and interview requests are sent before that.

Congrats to you too! The letter is just a general notification of admission from the graduate school director. No details about aid or spots offered. Thinking that will come by mail.

Thank you! I hope that you receive a positive response from them. I still haven't heard anything from UNM. I've been checking my mailbox relentlessly, but nothin'. Have you heard back from them? Seems like some of the decisions were posted this upcoming week last year.

If any other photo people are waiting to hear back from ASU, check your portal. Not sure if all decisions have been made, though.

Accepted to ASU! I've been logging into the portal daily just to see if I'd see an updated status and there was a big congratulations and admit letter waiting for me. If anyone else is awaiting a decision from them, check your portal! (not sure if all departments have posted decisions, though)

UT's website says early March for decisions. I really, really like their program and felt an immediate connection to the faculty. I hope we receive good news soon!

I think the rule of thumb is to send one within 48 hours. I think you'll be fine though! This is a different situation.
