Is it even possible to get an interview invite after they sent them on the 18th? I don't know if BBS sends them by waves, but I thought someone said earlier that Harvard had sent all of their invites already.

A friend of mine just got an interview from Scripps

The program director for the CMB program at PIBS called me and I might be able to negotiate an alternate weekend! Edit: An alternate weekend has happened in the past, so it's actually likely that I'll interview!

I called and they said that she thinks all of the invites were sent. (She wasn't an admissions coordinator or involved with admissions but they tend to know these things)

I think BBS sent all of their invites. *listens to Adele in repeat forever*

As I was refreshing my e-mail to see if I got an invite form Harvard BBS, I got one from Michigan PIBS (Too bad I have to decline it)

OMG I got an interview with Cornell's Comparative Biomedical Sciences Program.

I should point out that you cannot choose your interview weekend for Penn's CAMB. In the e-mail they sent me today, they invited me to one of their three weekends specifically.

Jan29th-February 1st and February 12th to the 15th.

I already confirmed two of my interviews, I really hope the Harvard BBS dates stay the same. (I also have to reject the Michigan PiBS interview,if invited, because I already occupied both of their weekends) x.x

I'm going on the second weekend for Cancer Bio! (Just have to look for faculty to confirm, but I'll do that tonight)

Congrats! Do you know if MCDB is the only program sending invites today?

Not having publications really doesn't matter, and 3.5 years of experience is a lot. I really don't know how expectations change for international students, though I'm certain the focus would be placed more on numbers, not publications. How strong do you expect your LORs to be? That might be the decisive factor.

It's kind of sad that future applicants will have to go over like 4 pages of rants before getting to relevant things :/ Hopefully this thread doesn't die because of it lol
