Do you guys think we'll see it first in our application portals, or in our emails simultaneously? Because at least GMail self-refreshes, so I know when I have mail. The app I have to manually refresh!
-
Even later than I thought!!!
-
I trust you, @elveintiocho !!

We've just seen proof that previous decisions have come out between 5-6. There's still hope! But who was that person who said 5 pm FACT. Trolling us???
-
Google Knows. I'm home now and ready to break my computer with the rest of you!
-
In the past these things have come at 5:30. I found out from penn at 5:15. There still hope

I'm the worst kind of New Yorker right now. Pushing past people on the streets were walking too slow.
-
It's 4:59 and I'm running home!!!! LITERALLY
-
Lucky you. I'll be stuck in a subway for the next half hour I won't be able to check in then I have a painful 10 minute run home through the snow
-
Every time my computer slows and the app page refreshes slower than usual I think THIS COULD BE IT

They always say late March. They certainly must notify earlier and they do.

Here's what we know: 2013, 2014, 2015: First Friday 2010, 2011, 2012: Tuesday Are we some tragic, unprecedented new set of three years?
-
Most likely after 3! But I'll be refreshing nonstop... except for 415-5 when I'm on my way home from work... which is probably when I'll miss it... AHHH!!
-
But didn't people say they heard last year at 3 est?

This makes me feel better that were not alone!! Maybe they're just going in little blasts for some reason. -

Maybe they only notified international students? Are both of you international? -

I applied to the MA too, even though I already have an MSEd (I didn't think the difference was significant enough to warrant paying for the extra few classes). Maybe they moved me to the other pool though? I'm hoping to hear today now!! -
International Education Development/Policy Applicants 2016

I haven't heard back yet I hope that doesn't mean I'm rejected! (Although at this point I don't care, because I prefer Penn, but still... I met with a professor there, everyone I know has been accepted to TC, so I'd just be very surprised!) -

Did you hear back from TC yet? I only have half of my decisions in, and even then, we won't have all the financial info for a few weeks, so I feel like I'm still miles away from being able to decide! (Even though I've completely eliminated NYU, it's a dead heat between Penn and HGSE right now, and TC in third as long as they don't offer me some scholarship). Do you guys think the difference between development and policy should be a major deciding factor? I'm new to the field in general, but know I have a stronger interest in development, but am open to everything. Should I be concerned about the differences between Penn/TC vs. HGSE with the policy focus? How will this change the nature of my education and the skills I will acquire? -
Yeah, this place made what would've been an otherwise isolated journey feel very exciting and communal! Good luck everyone !!
-
I'm giving a test tomorrow... followed by PD from 3-4, so I'm going to be watching the clock tick slowly by, instead of being so busy I don't notice the time!! *sigh* I wish HGSE just could send me a text alert. "CONGRATS!" Maybe that's the future of admissions. All you technology and higher ed people, get on that!

OMG, 3 PM is not OK!!! I am going to be in teacher meetings at that time, and while everyone knows that I am leaving for grad school next year, I'm not sure if they'll be OK with me refreshing my computer instead of analyzing test scores Of course, getting the information while teaching would be even crazier.

This makes sense about the waitlist! They have no limit, so if they want you, they'll take you! And if they don't.... bye bye! Still, waitlists are terrible, the purgatory would be unbearable anyway. Today my 7th grade students were giving me major attitude (which they have 10x more of than I do), so I just started thinking about my hopes and dreams for tomorrow and just tuned it all out.
