  1. I have recently been admitted to a graduate program. So far, everything I've been receiving (the email about my recommendation for admission, the actual acceptance email) has suggested that I'm already enrolled. It mentions nothing about accepting or declining the offer. I sent an email to the program coordinator, but this is so strange! I mean, I haven't paid anything, so I should be ok, right? Most likely I will reject this offer.
  2. Got an email saying to expect an interview within the next few days. This probably means next week, given that the Easter holiday is soon.
  3. udpate: just wrote the nicest admissions status email of all time. Waiting for a response!
  4. Thanks for the responses you guys! The thing is, i've read/seen through the results page of other people getting rejected or admitted during the time i've been waiting. So, the admissions team is going through applications, just not mine. Super frustrating! I think I will send them another email soon. Last time I asked for an update, the head of admissions was super kind and apologetic. It's a really good program with amazing job placement--i just dont want to get rejected. Haha but then again, I feel as if I already am.
  5. I applied to a master's program that had rolling admissions since September, when the admissions cycle started. I submitted my application in early November...haven't heard back yet. I contacted the office in January (when the 8 week time frame they had given was well past) and was told to expect an invitation to interview shortly. That was late January, now it's late March. I'm not sure what to do. Clearly, I'm on the waitlist, but why not tell me this? It's also aggravating because when I first applied I received and email from the admissions coordinator saying I was a competitive applicant, and to email her further with questions. Should I send another email? I'm worried that doing so might expedite a rejection.
  6. @Yunglark when did you apply originally? And @Reth, I know for a fact that my application is under review, and my status still says 'Completed' as well. Don't know too much about the TOEFL, i'm a domestic applicant, sorry!
  7. We'll see what happens I suppose! And I believe they conduct interviews all the time and not just Feb-March, but for those who applied in mid december it could very well be from Feb-March, specifically!
  8. I sent an update email and I still haven't gotten a reply. Should I accept this as a rejection? I'm not sure what to do here.. @jojot have you heard back yet?
  9. I applied back in November, haven't heard back in the 6-8 week time frame they gave, so I sent an update email and no response! I'm taking this as a rejection. But then again, I think, well If they wanted to reject me why not go ahead and send the email already? So all I can do now is turn my brain off and prepare for the worst. On a happier note, this is the first weekend of my last semester of undergrad so I'm due for a little stress relief!
  10. I applied to my top program that accepts applications on a rolling basis on November 9th. The email said the entire process takes about 6-8 from start to finish, and I still haven't heard back from the school. Taking into account the holidays, I'm on my 8th week now. When do you guys think is an appropriate time to email/call back for an update?
  11. yeah...currently i'm trying to figure out what time would be the most reasonable time to send an update email :/
  12. i'm sorry to hear that! It'll definitely be a relief either way. there's also some kind of preference system in terms of how updates are sent, just wish I knew what it was. wishing the best for you in the future! I feel like i'll probably have a similar fate...i submitted my application relatively early.
  13. Just double checking because i'm really paranoid, but what does your application say? mine says submitted, but in a smaller font it says completed. is it supposed to say under review or something?
  14. that's so nice, thank you! And I think you should be good--you didn't talk about any details of the interview itself. I'm not really sure why I even asked because I still haven't gotten an update email yet! This is just driving me completely crazy and has me double guessing everything. I need to block this website for a little bit haha!
