Same here! I ended up taking a post-bacc class at a school down the street from my house. It's a genetics class so i'm sure it'll help me in grad school. It's definitely helping my boredom right now.

I also might end up at UCR if I ever get an acceptance letter from them. My issue is finding dog friendly housing. I'd have a car and I am from Atlanta so I'm used to it taking me an hour to get 20 minutes up the highway, but I'd like housing relatively close so I could check on my dog during the day.

@artsy16 i think 3 would be good. unless you can get 1 that you could talk hours about. Question to all: Is it appropriate to tell a POI I've been talking to for a couple of months about an acceptance at another school? I just feel like since acceptances/ rejections are going out I should back off until i hear back from the school.

@Pink Fuzzy Bunny 2 of the schools had early visitation programs that i applied for, and the third invited me bc i was invited by one of the other 2. To say i felt special would be an understatement!

@Pink Fuzzy Bunny I can definitely relate. Some of my friends already in school ended up at not their first choices and while they seem happy now, I feel bad that I'm having such good fortune in getting into schools/ interviews. I was also lucky enough to be able to visit all 3 of my top 3 schools (expenses paid) before applications were due. But then I remind myself that I worked really hard for this! And have been talking to these POIs since April.

Does anyone feel bad going on expense paid for recruitment weekends to other schools when they have a clear #1? I feel like im taking advantage of the schools, but then i remind myself that theyre doing it for a lot of people and something in that visit could change my whole school hierarchy. Right?

Hadnt heard of it! Tbh, im more interested in bees so i kind of have tunnel vision. I'm trying to up my entomology cred. i got my bachelors in psychology and have decided to switch for my phd bc i love keeping bees and talking about pollinator conservation.

Another BS straight to PhD here! Im just realizing how lucky i was that my parents lwt me freeload at home until i got my shit together (2 yr gap year).

I didnt get my license until i was 22. So ive only been driving for 3 years! Ive already told my parents not to expect kids from me. My brother has 2 and my sister has 3, thats enough for the family to share. My policy on kids is that they have to be returnable!

Just got invited to Penn State's recruitment weekend! I was getting worried bc it's in 2 weeks and it seemed a bit late to send out invitations. I feel like everything is falling into place!

I found a penny before I got my UIUC acceptance email. Found a penny today. No new acceptance emails! I trusted you penny superstition and you failed me. Maybe it'll work tomorrow...
