Weinberg and Feinberg are different I think - http://www.weinberg.northwestern.edu
I applied to Weinberg because of the specific faculty. Haven't heard anything yet
Thanks! This is helpful. I feel like I did do all of this (more research-based programs, solid stats and lots of research experience, targeted a few faculty who were good fits (but I could not find perfect fits except for 1 because most scientists I looked up weren't in academia but in psychiatry). No interviews to date.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm worried I may have been too specific in my essay. How did everyone write their's?
Haven't gotten a single interview yet....it kills to refresh the grad cafe interview page and look at my schools being posted.
I'm starting to think I may have been way too specific in my essay with too many of my own goals (did anyone else do this, and not get any interviews?)
I was more curious about the number of invites they send out, and if they sent them out now. On their website, they clearly state the minimum GPA, GRE, letters of rec, etc. as the factors in extending an invitation.
Did LIU Brooklyn PhD interviews go out (not PsyD)..?
I'm surprised because I was looking at the history of interview invite stats, and some of them were much lower than mine. Does anyone know how this works?
This is my first year applying, and I was really curious how many times others have applied and what is driving you to keep going.
What kept you going? How did you try to improve?
Did you think of alternate careers? Why did you/did you not pursue that alternate career?
How many times were you/are you willing to try until you're accepted?
What do you want to do after you have your doctoral degree?
