  1. I applied for Ryerson University - PhD in Policy Studies. I received this email, and was wondering if this means that I should be expecting an acceptance letter/will be receiving OGS?!? I'm so anxious that I feel like I'm reading into this, but offers come out mid-March and I sense they would not send this if I didn't have a really good shot at being accepted... Thank you for your application to the Policy Studies PhD program at Ryerson University. In your application, you indicated that you wish to be considered for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. The admissions application package will be used as the basis for consideration for the OGS competition. Please complete and sign the following supplemental form for prospective students: [link removed] Kindly return this to me via email by Monday, March 2.
  2. I am in my final year of my undergraduate degree in Psychology and was a bit unsure of my direction when I initially applied, so I only applied for a Masters of Early Childhood Studies which I have just been accepted into. After a lot more thought, I've realized I would like to do work with children and families in a more clinical setting as opposed to educational, especially those dealing with chronic illness. So this would lead me to do Child Life Studies/Masters of Social Work/School & Child Counseling. However, I am too late to apply for those this year and intend to do so next year. So I am stuck, do I take the 1-year MA in Early Childhood Studies which is related and use that to strengthen my application, or should I spent the year upgrading a course or two and working/volunteering to strengthen my application? Would doing the 1-year MA in ECS and then applying for the above programs make me look unfocused/disorganized, or will it help?
  3. Hi everyone! I'm applying for the MA ECS (Early Childhood Studies) program at Ryerson, I've completed the application, but one of my referees is yet to upload his letter and he is out of the country until Monday, which is the day before the deadline. In the case that I am missing a letter on the deadline, would I still be considered or would this completely disqualify me? Is there anything I can do about missing a letter? Thanks.
