I spoke with the program director at the University of Akron and it looks like they are still accepting applications past the deadline. They have also waived the application fee and she said they're accepting a similar number of MA/PhD and terminal master's students as they have in the past.

Those of you who were accepted at Michigan State - any idea when the interview weekend is?

I'll be moving about 12 hours away! I'd like to get started on housing stuff as soon as I can. I know April 15th is right around the corner, but I just want to know!.

Has anyone else accepted their offer yet? I don't feel like it's necessarily early, but I accepted an offer at PhD program about a week ago. I'm just anxiously waiting to see who will be in my cohort!

Unfortunately there is no link to click. I guess it will be posted to my portal sometime in the next week? I just thought I would have heard back if others already did!

Has anyone encountered something weird with their George Mason application? My application status switched from "out for decision" to "decision made". The results page showed that a couple people received rejections, but I have yet to hear either way. I checked my spam folder and I don't see anything either. I'm guessing it isn't great news, but I'd like a definite answer! Any thoughts?

What are my chances? Hey All, like many of you I have just finalized the last of my applications for Ph.D. programs. Some days I feel like I have a great shot and others I feel like there's no hope. This waiting period is the absolute worst and I can't help but incessantly check the results page. I was hoping if you could give me some genuine feedback and let me know what you think my chances are. Major: Psychology Minors: Studio Art & Social Entrepreneurship Cumulative GPA: 3.68 Psychology GPA: 3.91 Junior/Senior GPA: 4.00 GRE (V/Q/A): (157 / 155 / 4) Research Experience: 2 years in I/O lab and some time in oral biology lab - Research accepted at 3 conferences (SIOP, APS, MPA) Work/Leadership Experience: - Teaching Assistant for Psychology since Aug 2014 - Part-time at retail for 3+ years - Psi Chi President I'm definitely a little worried about my GRE and my GPA could be a little stronger. I'm just hoping my application doesn't get tossed immediately. Let me know what you think.
