So excited for everyone who got through! Congratulations, all the stressing has paid off! I'm an alternate for Hindi and seriously hoping I get to go, but applying to other things for now . Will definitely be reapplying to CLS in the future

I asked my campus representative and he said "I don't know and I won't know before you anyways," with a smile. I smiled back but died a little bit inside. I sincerely hope this thread becomes a collection of happy 'I got in!' posts, but remember, we made it this far and we can reapply next year

Y'all my passport expires before december and i'm freaking out. why.

^^Just saw this post by CLS on Facebook. Disappointed but I'll be happy to get accepted even if it's a lot later..if I get rejected I'd rather it be sooner so I can apply to other programs in earnest. Also saw a post from another applicant on Facebook who called and was told decisions might come out this week, but no guarantees. I'm just imagining what they are still doing. I have to assume final decisions have been made and they're simply collecting all the info, or else: anxiety. Anywho, good luck to everyone! Hopefully we'll know by the end of the week!

semifinalist for hindi!

my first ever application at the national level and it's nerve wracking..Just a freshman though so if I don't get it I'll have the opportunity to try again hopefully! But if I don't get in I'd love to know why. Does anyone lese drive themselves crazy thinking about what in the application caused a rejection?

Just made an account because I couldn't see past the first page of this thread without signing in..procrastinating on a newspaper story and jumping every time I get an email haha. It's nice to have some company in this. Good luck to everyone!
