Hey, I know that Laurier usually gives out acceptances in early April. Last year from reading the forums it was as early as April 1st-3rd I believe! I hope this helps! Let me know if you find out any different though! -

Hopefully we hear something soon. Any feedback about the program from your friend? Is she enjoying it? I will definitely try to do the same if my applications are not successful!! I am waiting to hear back about Waterloo's bsw program. Did you get an e-mail or was it just an update on quest? -

Hey, thank you so much for your support. I have really been struggling with not feeling "good enough" through this application process. It is tough. I am rooting for you!! Have you been able to get some great references from your experience in BSW? -

Hey Mack, Thank you so much for your information!! I am praying to get in, it seems like a great opportunity. I am just a little bit concerned about my overall GPA its only a 79%. I didn't do well in my first 2 years so I have been trying so hard to raise it. I do have 3400 hours of experience, 2200 of which are working directly with individuals who suffer from mental illness, specifically schizophrenia. Do you know how competitive it is to get in? -

I'm so sorry, I thought you were in for sure. Your average is seriously incredible. Did you apply to any other schools? Waterloo's MSW program is incredibly competitive as you know so do not be too hard on yourself. -

Hey guys, I am super interested in researching and developing art based programs that work to build self-esteem and aim to provide therapeutic relief among marginalized populations. I am specifically interested in helping individuals with severe mental illness. I was just wondering if anyone knows of schools in Canada that have an interest in alternative therapies like art? Thus far I am having a hard time finding professors who share my interests. -

Refreshing quest every five minutes lately. I am so happy for everyone who has been accepted... but I think I have applied to the three slowest schools in terms of offers of admission. I don't find out about Dalhousie until MAY! -

Hey sorry I didn't give much detail. If you e-mail Laura Newman ( her e-mail is on the university waterloo website) she can evaluate your transcript and tell you what credits can transfer to be the perquisites. I had 6 transferable credits, I will be doing 4 in the spring! Yes spring semester is a separate application. I will find out by march or april, before I will be enrolling in the spring. Hope this helps -

Hey, I am applying to waterloo for BSW ! There is a spring term non degree that you are to apply for to complete the perquisites. I have already been accepted for the spring term but I am still waiting to hear back about the Bsw!!! I heard they were reviewing the applications already. Did you apply?! -

Dude your average is great!! Don't worry !! I haven't done my BSW yet, so I am only applying to a 2 year program at Laurier. However, I am actually hoping to get into waterloo for their BSW program so I can raise my average and apply to advance standing programs if all else fails!! I think you have nothing to worry about, with that average haha! However, back up plans are good for us!!! Dalhousie's online BSW is my back up, back up plan ahah!! Is New England a advanced standing program? Insert other media -

I also strongly agree with your feelings!! I empathize with both of you! I am not overly confident in my average or my experience. My average is 81% but since coming onto this forum I feel that is pretty average. I also thought I had good experience but not since reading the experience of others!! I know we shouldn't compare ourselves but it is hard haha! Where did you two apply? I hope we hear back soon so that we can plan for our future, I like to have everything figured out haha! -

Wow that experience sounds amazing, If all else fails this year, maybe I should consider applying there! WOW. Waterloo has told me I will hear back from march- April Like most of the schools that I have applied to! Thank you for your positive information about getting a BSW I think it will definitely be worth it. -

Hey Kat, Where did you do your bsw? I applied to both Waterloo and Dalhousie for mine this year. I am hoping for Waterloo since it is only 10 months, but I have no idea what my chances are of being accepted. -
