How did you fund your MA in Religious Studies?

UChicago Div School offers pretty good funding, at the very least incoming MA students receive a scholarship for 50% off of tuition. Thus the degree "only" costs about 16k a year for two years, with the opportunity to apply for other sources of funding i.e. FLAS, CLS, etc. In addition there are a plethora of employment opportunities for graduate students. -

I hope the best for you my dude but if it doesn't work out and if you really want it then hit it for a third time. Took me three years of applying but was finally accepted to UPenn and NYU, and still waiting on a few more. Never give up, never surrender.

As far as I know UChicago divinity doesn't usually interview but it could be different according to the subfield

They admit usually 10-11 students split between ancient and modern with modern understood as having to do with Islam.
