I didn't apply to WUSTL, but I've read about a couple of acceptances that began happening in the last week or so (a poetry and fiction acceptance) as well as a waitlisting. Driftless House has been good at updating with the acceptances they hear about. Hope this helps at all.

And now I'm hitting up MFA Blog... I'm just torturing myself now. I hope if these schools are going to reject me that they do it quickly. As it stands now, I'll have a heart attack before I turn 24.

I've been expecting the decision letters to come sometime in March...it's just that the 6 week period starts tomorrow, so now my anxiety has shot through the roof now. I can't help it. I'm such a worrier by nature (thanks, Mom).

EDIT: Found an answer on SAIC's Facebook fan page. They said 6-8 weeks after the deadline date, and the 6 week mark lands on this Friday. Gives me the heebie jeebies. Good luck!

Yep, an emphatic 'yes' to that. Sadly enough, my iPhone is my life. Still, with my nerves quickly becoming shot (again) I'm trying to keep it out of my sight as much as humanly possible.

If you have a PDA/Smartphone (i.e. iPhone, Blackberry, etc) it's like 10x worse. I wake up in the morning and see that little number by the Mail Icon, and I'm automatically wide awake. Then I check my phone every 2 minutes throughout the day, trying to catch that e-mail. It's so frustrating!! I just have to break my iPhone e-mail addiction.

I've applied to the MFAW program and haven't heard anything yet, either...when are the decision letters supposed to be mailed out?

I'm a newbie here, but I'm glad to be here with those who are in the same boat as I'm in. With that said, I am now waiting with bated breath. I didn't really freak out at all this month because it took so long for my applications to be officially filed (my top choice sent me the completed application confirmation the second week of February), so I'm guessing that March really is it. Good luck to everyone!
