Hey Y'all,
I'm new to the forum and was hoping y'all could give me a realistic idea on my chances on getting into an SLP program. A little about myself, I graduated from the University of South Carolina a semester early with a BS in Public Health. The school gpa I graduated with was a 3.52 (straight A's my last semester really helped ), I do not know what the csdcas gpa was but I think it was somewhere around a 3.35. I bombed two courses throughout college and retook them with good results. I worked for a senator for 1 1/2 years, worked in a neurolinguistics lab my last semester, was an assistant baseball coach, and worked for a public works department for a few summers. I was also my fraternity treasurer in 2014 and president in 2015. My GRE scores are at or above what my schools are looking for: Verbal: 154, 63rd percentile; Quantitative: 155, 60th percentile; Writing 4.5/6, 80th percentile.
I applied to:
Northern Arizona University
University of Montana
Western Carolina
Appalachian State
U of SC
I couldn't afford to apply to any more schools unfortunately.
Thank you for any feedback.
